On Saturday, October 25, 2008 Kongcrete will perform two shows in one day. 4.30 pm @ The Harvest Rebellion, which will take place at Tompkins Square Park in New York City. 9.40 pm @ Burning Man Decompression 2008, which will take place at Aviator Sports, Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, NY. Both festivals are all-day events celebrating and showcasing a diverse blend of music, art, freedom of expression, and community. 4/21/08 : Album in stores May 2008!!! Kongcrete self titled debut album will be available in stores in May 2008. The album consists of 12 tracks including singles "Greyhound Bus" and "Demented"(new version). You can listen to the singles right now on myspace.com/kongcrete and also preview the album sampler which consists snippets of all 12 tracks.

4/10/08 : Album cover by Carlos Huante. Kongcrete has teamed up with world wide known artist and graphic designer Carlos Huante. Carlos has worked as a visual and special effects designer on movies like Eragon, War of the Worlds, Hellboy, Men In Black I and II, Bicentennial Man and many more. This is one of a kind collaboration between these artists and the result is a unique and amazing art that will appear on Kongcrete's debut album cover. To see more art by Carlos Huante click here.

4/2/08 : Vlado Meller is mastering the album. Kongcrete debut album is being mastered at Universal Mastering Studios by Vlado Meller himself! Vlado has an extensive discography including many of the most successful albums of all times. Some of the artists that Vlado Meller has worked with include: Run DMC, Public Enemy, Rage Against The Machine, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West, Pink Floyd, System Of A Down, The White Stripes, Leona Lewis, Shakira, Lil Wayne and many more.

2/7/08 : Album mixed. All of the 12 tracks have been mixed and are ready for mastering. The exact date of the album release will be announced very soon.

9/22/07 : Showz suspended. For the time of album production Kongcrete has suspended all live appearances.

5/1/07 : Mixing the album. All of the material for Kongcrete's debut album has been recorded and is being mixed at the BoilerRoom Studio in Wiliamsburg. Unfortunately, for reasons beyond band's control the release date has been rescheduled for the beginning of 2008.

3/1/07 : Album update. Kongcrete has completed recording all the instrumentals for the upcoming album. Right now the band is recording vocals and mixing all of the material. Stay tuned, 100% Ghetto Rock is coming your way!

11/22/06 : Recording the album. Kongcrete is recording full length debut album, scheduled for release in October 2007. The album will contain 12 killa trax. "Greyhound Bus" single should arrive sometime in May 2007. Check back soon for exact dates of the single and album release.

9/26/06 : Back in the studio. Members of Kongcrete are back in the studio in order to complete recording of the album. All live appearances will be suspended till the end of the year. Check back for information on progress.

9/18/06 : M.E.A.N.Y. Festival 2006. Kongcrete will appear at the CBGB's Gallery on Friday, Sept. 22, 2006 as a part of this year's M.E.A.N.Y. Festival. Some of the artists appearing at the Festival include: DMC (of Run DMC) with P.R.Y.D.E., Ben Jelen, My Morning Jacket, Fixer, Parlor Mob, Locksley, Rachel Sage, and more. 8/23/06 : Poetry meets Ghetto Rock. Alright, so you've heard "spoken word" poetry before. But have you ever experienced "spoken word" along with the hard throbbing sounds of Ghetto Rock, performed by the likes of Kongcrete?! For the first time, Don Hills will be featuring this one of a kind fusion initiated by the New York poets Obsidian and HoboBoB (the hosts who bring you " A Times Square Shout Out" open mic reading in the very heart of Times Square). 7/24/06 : Consequence and Kongcrete Show. Kongcrete will perform at The Spitfire Showcase "Summer Bash" on July 26, 2006 at the Remote Lounge. 4/26/06 : "Greyhound Bus" video shoot. Kongcrete has completed shooting the footage for the music video of the upcoming album's promotional single "Greyhound Bus". The video will be released, along with the single, in the early Summer of 2006. We would like to thank everybody involved in that project. Special thanks to Tribeca Performing Arts Center and their staff, and the most appreciation to a very talented cinematographer Alex Aurichio whose experience and skillz have greatly contributed to the success of that project.

3/28/06 : Four days left. This is serious, Kongcrete/Hated/D*Centt are about to rip the stage at Wild Spirits. Kongcrete will perform at 10.00 pm, so make sure you get there on time. The show is gonna be video taped and some of the footage might be used in Kongcrete's first music video (comin' out in June).

3/11/06 : Fools Day Show. Get ready for some serious s@#%! Kongcrete is back on the stage. April 1, 2006 you gonna have a chance to witness one of NYC's toughest rhyme and noize marathon as three of the top hardcore bands will take over the stage at Wild Spirits.
